Isometric Game Art
- 2D/3D - Isometric can be either of them or both of them combined.
- Strange Case of Dr.Jekyll & Mr Hyde - published in 1886 by Robert Louis Stevens
- Bastion & Diablo - Known for their outstanding Isometric art (will be using these games as reference)
- Software usage: Photoshop & Flash
To create isometric art as a simulation game, choices of engines were rather scarce except using Flash as a 'point & click' game. However, if the basic simulation still works, than it will be fine.
The important part of this project is the 'quality of the spatial construct (environment), rather than quality'.
<e.g. even if I create immense amount of models but the quality (details of each buildings/structures or its out of proportion compare to your original plan etc), is failing, having small space with incredible details, it is acceptable.
